GYBA Parents & Players,

The 2024 - 2025 GYBA Winter Basketball Season Registration is now open to all players (Open September 6th through September 15th). 

Please go to the GYBA Registration link and after entering the section, follow the instructions and complete the steps outlined for your child's appropriate Grade Level. 

GYBA's goal is to create teams for boys and girls in grades 3 through 8 that participate in the Jefferson County Youth Basketball Conference (JPS) or the Gold Crown Youth Development Basketball League (GC-Development). The number of teams GYBA can form depends on available gym space (Elementary, Middle Schools, Rec Centers, etc.) volunteer coach commitments, returning teams, and player registrations. 

Once registered, a player will be considered "waitlisted" until assigned to the appropriate team (see Team Formation Policy under the “About Us” tab on GYBA website). When the team roster is finalized, that team's assigned coach will contact their players with additional details for the season. If registrations exceed the predetermined enrollment limit, players will remain on the waitlist and be contacted if roster spots become available. 

We are looking forward to the Winter Basketball Season and are excited to get the kids on the court.

GYBA REGISTRATION INFORMATION:

• Registration is open September 6th through September 15th
• Available for Boys & Girls grades 3 through 8
• $325 per-player for grades 3, 4 and 5
• 10-game guarantee plus playoffs for qualifying teams (top 8 in every division).
• Practice time is included. There will be an additional cost for Uniforms.
• $340 per-player for grades 6, 7, and 8
• 12-game guarantee plus playoffs for qualifying teams.
• Practice time is included. There will be an additional cost for Uniforms.
• No Sunday Games or Practices for the Jeffco / JPS Winter League. Please note: There will be more Saturday games this season due to facility constraints throughout Jeffco.
• PRACTICES
• Practices will be assigned mid-October and formally begin the week of November 11th. Teams will receive two (2) practices per week.
• The team coach will provide practice schedules once available. Please Note: a coach may decide to only practice once a week, and occasionally practices get canceled because of a scheduled game, school event and/or weather.
• REGULAR SEASON GAMES
• Games begin December 2nd and will conclude on or before February 15th, with playoffs the week of February 17th. 
• Games may be scheduled any day of the week except Sunday. Game day typically varies from week to week.
• Game locations will include Gold Crown, River Church, Tony Grampsas, Lilly Gulch Rec Center, South Suburban and The Courts in Northglenn as well as any other gyms in the Jefferson County area (Including Metro State University).
• PLAYOFFS & LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIPS
• Included as part of the League and will be held the week of February 17th and will end on or before February 22nd.
• All Championship games will be played at The Courts Sports Complex in Northglenn on the Championship February 22nd.
• The top 8 teams in each division will qualify for the playoffs, single elimination format. No Game Admission Fees for Spectators.
• PRE-SEASON TOURNAMENT
• JPS hosts the Pre-Season Tournament, this is not included as part of the Winter League fee. The team coach will provide details.
